“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! — When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.”
― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
I love to read and am always looking for great books to read. So please pass on your suggestions. I have found books is the one thing I can talk about with people of all ages. My 96 year old great-aunt, we can talk books actually she is a voracious reader and passes on her favorite titles to me. My sister gives me books that she loved all the time. Because of her I know I have read: The Help & last year she gave me The Hunger Games. She also lets me know which books to bypass because of her book club. My other sister got me into Nicholas Sparks books (side note: Josh Duhamel in a Nicholas Sparks movie means that my butt will be in the movie theaters seat this Valentine’s Day weekend. J). My 1-year-old niece loves books, she loves to look at them and when you read to her as well. And some of my fun memories from my childhood include my dad reading to us before bed. I definitely have been wanting to read more this year and that is why I’m joining a book club, first up is Gone Girl, see what I think about it on February 27th.

I love to see blogs like this. Great picture by the way. Reading is my passion as well and I am teaching my own children about the value of a good book as well. I look forward to reading your thoughts and coming back as a return visitor.
